The following is a list of terms for those new to the subject of Acts 15 …

Jerusalem Council – the name of the meeting held in Jerusalem to discuss Gentiles who enter the New Covenant, with the literary passage being typically seen as Acts 14:26-15:35. Although there are scholarly reasons for different terms, this is a contemporarily accepted term.

Apostolic Decree – the name of the ruling agreed upon in Acts 15, often seen as v19-29. Although there are scholarly reasons for different terms, this is a contemporarily accepted term.

Messianic Jews – Jews who enter the New Covenant and follow Jesus as their Messiah. Although there are scholarly reasons for different terms, this is a contemporarily accepted term.

Gentile Christians – people from the nations who enter the New Covenant and follow Jesus as their Messiah. Although there are scholarly reasons for different terms, this is a contemporarily accepted term.
